Kemper and the Transrapid.

Engineer graduate Hermann Kemper, son of the company's founder, demonstrated the fact that a pragmatic rural approach and highly complex ingenuity are not mutually exclusive.

The under-ceiling transportation used in Kemper's operation is a by-product of the 1934 patent filed by Hermann Kemper for the idea of an 'electromagnetic suspension railway', which was later created under the name 'Transrapid'.
